Autonics BX5M-MFR is a retroreflective photoelectric sensor with a 5 m detection range when used with the MS-2 reflector, featuring an 850 nm infrared emitter and a relay output for straightforward switching. It operates on a 12–24 VDC supply (±10% tolerance, ripple up to 10%) and provides selectable Light-On or Dark-On sensing modes via an internal switch. The sensor detects non-transparent targets with a minimum diameter of 60 mm and offers a fast response time of up to 20 ms, making it suitable for inline automation and object presence monitoring.
