Autonics LA8N-BN Counter

Autonics LA8N-BN is a compact 8-digit LCD totalizer/counter in a 1/32 DIN form factor with an IP66 front panel, designed as an indicator‑only counter for industrial counting tasks. It offers counting modes of up, down, or up/down via a terminal‑block interface and uses no‑voltage input (NPN) for both the counting signal and the reset input. Power is provided by a built‑in battery with a life of more than seven years, providing long‑term operation without an external power source in many installations. The display is an 8‑digit, 7‑segment LCD (character height about 8.7 mm) with a minimum input pulse width of 20 ms and a maximum counting speed up to 1 kcps. The unit weighs roughly 96 g and ships with a mounting bracket and a rubber waterproof ring for panel sealing, making it suitable for harsh environments. Operating conditions span −10 to 55°C and 35–85% RH (storage −25 to 65°C, 35–85% RH).
