Autonics PR12-2DN Through-Beam Photoelectric Sensor
Autonics PR12-2DN Through-Beam Photoelectric Sensor
Description:
Autonics PR12-2DN is a cylindrical inductive proximity sensor (Ø12 mm sensing face) that detects ferrous metal objects without contact, making it ideal for compact automation where physical switches are impractical. With a 2 mm sensing distance and a standard sensing target of 12×12×1 mm iron, it provides dependable metal detection in tight spaces, and its flush-mount installation keeps it nearly invisible in the line, reducing mechanical interference. Operated from 12–24 VDC (10–30 VDC range) with ripple ≤ 10%, the PR12-2DN draws up to 10 mA and supports outputs up to 200 mA, while its IP67-rated housing and red operation indicator ensure reliability in industrial environments. At about 72 g (84 g in packaged form), this Autonics PR12 series sensor is designed for straightforward integration into automation controls, offering a 1.5 kHz response and a rugged build suitable for end-of-line sensing, position verification, and other metal-detection tasks.
