Description:

Autonics TZ4ST-24C is a DIN‑rail friendly, multi‑input digital temperature controller built for heating and cooling loops, sold as a replacement for TK4S-24CN. It features a 4‑digit LED display and supports multiple control modes: ON/OFF, P, PI, PD, and full PID with auto‑tuning, including a two‑stage auto‑tune option for robust startup. The unit accepts diverse sensor inputs: thermocouples K, J, E, T, R, S, N, and W; RTD inputs Pt100Ω and JPt100Ω; and analog sources of 1–5 V, 0–10 V, or DC 4–20 mA, enabling it to be used with a wide range of temperature sensors and process signals. With a 500 ms sampling interval, it updates PV readings promptly and drives a current output 4–20 mA for PV transmission. Output architecture also supports alarm signaling with multiple alarm options and RS‑485 communication for remote monitoring and integration into supervision systems. The TZ4ST‑24C is powered from 100–240 VAC at 50/60 Hz, making it suitable for standard mains‑powered environments. Typical installation weights list around 218 g packed (≈162 g for the bare unit). Note: Autonics lists TZ4ST-24C as discontinued, reflecting its status in current catalogs.
