The Avago AFBR-8420Z-FB1 is a CFP2 100GBASE-SR10 optical transceiver module that aggregates 10 parallel 10 Gbps lanes into a single pluggable device for high-density data-center links. It uses an 850 nm VCSEL transmitter array and a PIN receiver array to enable 100 Gbps over multimode fiber, compliant with IEEE 100GBASE-SR10 specifications, with reach up to 100 meters on OM3 fiber and 150 meters on OM4 fiber. The module operates in the CFP2 form factor and provides MDIO-accessible diagnostics for monitoring status and health, with interoperability with 40G SR4 and other Avago 10G SR optics.
