The B&B Electronics 485LDRC9 Optically Isolated Converter is a DIN-rail mounted RS-232 to RS-422/RS-485 interface that provides 2,000 V of optical isolation between the RS-232 side and the RS-422/RS-485 network. Connections are via screw-down terminal blocks on both sides, and onboard switches enable RS-485 two-wire (half-duplex), RS-485 four-wire (full-duplex), or RS-422 operation. The unit is powered from a DIN-rail supply in the 9–30 VAC range (or equivalent DC) per B&B documentation.
