B&R 3DM486.6 Industrial Automation IO Module System

3DM486.6 is a System 2005 digital mixed I/O module from B&R that provides 16 digital inputs and 16 transistor outputs for 24 VDC control, with input configurations that support sink or source and a fast 1 ms response. Each output can source up to 0.5 A (total 8.0 A across all outputs) and includes protection such as thermal shutdown and reverse-polarity protection, while input filtering operates at ≤1 ms. The module draws power from an internal 5 VDC supply (1.2 W) and uses an external 24 V supply for the outputs (2.2 W), with the I/O groups electrically isolated from each other and LED diagnostics for per-channel status and I/O power monitoring. Built for industrial environments, it carries IP20 protection and operates from 0 to 60°C with 5 to 95% relative humidity, storage -25 to 70°C. Physically, it is a single-width System 2005 base/expansion module, and two TB718 terminal blocks must be ordered separately to complete the installation.
