B&R Industrial Automation 0AC808.9-1 Ethernet Hub

The B&R 0AC808.9-1 Ethernet Hub is an eight-port Layer-2 industrial hub powered from 24 VDC that serves as a standalone extension point in rugged Ethernet networks. It provides eight shielded RJ45 ports supporting 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX with autonegotiation and automatic MDIX, delivering up to 100 Mbps per port and a hub propagation delay of 0.64–0.68 µs. On the front, per-port LEDs show network activity (RX, orange) and per-port link/collision status (Link = green, Collision = red), plus a supply-voltage indicator to confirm operation. Half-duplex operation is supported while full-duplex is not. The device is designed for industrial control equipment and can function as a Level-2 hub in standard Ethernet topologies, interconnecting sensors, controllers, and other field devices within a single subnet. The 0AC808.9-1 requires a TB704-series terminal block (sold separately) to provide 24 VDC power; compatible options include TB704.91 (4-pin push-in) and TB704.9 (4-pin screw clamp). Certifications include CE and UL/cULus for industrial use. The unit uses shielded RJ45 cabling and supports a maximum segment length of 100 meters between stations.
