B&R Industrial Automation 2NC303.60-1 System Path Processor
Description:
2NC303.60-1 System Path Processor is a dedicated ultrasonic transducer processing module for B&R System 2000 that autonomously handles distance measurement across four ultrasonic channels while providing a fifth RPM measurement channel via a pulse encoder input (up to 700 Hz). It runs from a single 24 VDC supply and offers four digital inputs (24 VDC, 10 ms, sink) and four transistor outputs (24 VDC, up to 1 A), plus four analog inputs (0–10 V, 12-bit) and five analog outputs (±10 V, 12-bit) for signal conditioning and control. Data collected from the ultrasonic transducers is stored in a Dual Port RAM (DPR) and can be read cyclically by the PCC CPU, enabling seamless integration into broader automation programs. The module is designed for use within B&R’s System 2000 I/O architecture and can be paired with TB140 terminal blocks (sold separately) to suit installation needs. Typical applications include ultrasonic distance or position sensing in automated lines, material thickness or level measurement, and RPM monitoring for rotating equipment, with software support to configure measurement ranges, filtering, and plausibility checks.
