B&R Industrial Automation 7CP476-020.9 CPU Module
Description:
The B&R 7CP476-020.9 CPU Module is a System 2003 central processor designed for rugged industrial automation. It includes 750 kB SRAM and 1.5 MB FlashPROM, runs on 24 VDC, and draws about 11.8 W. It provides one RS-232 interface and one CAN interface, with the CAN bus being electrically isolated and network-capable for reliable field communication. As a 2003 CPU with expansion, the module offers four screw-in module slots for I/O or interface modules, plus one PCMCIA slot and one insert slot for additional interface modules, enabling flexible configuration and expansion. The unit carries CE and UKCA certifications, and HazLoc support (Class I, Division 2, Groups ABCD) for use in hazardous environments. Intended for use within B&R Automation System 2003 controllers, it coordinates data from connected sensors and actuators, executes real-time control tasks, and communicates with other devices across supported buses. With its combination of compact CPU power, nonvolatile FlashPROM, and expandable I/O options, 7CP476-020.9 supports a wide range of industrial applications, including machine control, process automation, packaging, and material handling.
