B&R Industrial Automation 7EX270.50-1 Bus Controller

7EX270.50-1 is a B&R SYSTEM 2003 CAN bus controller that adds CAN network communication to industrial control systems. It operates from 24 V DC with a 4 W power supply and provides a single CAN interface with galvanic isolation, enabling safe, networked CAN communication within hazardous-location certified environments when installed accordingly. The module is network-capable and designed to work with other System 2003 modules on the same automation ecosystem. It carries CE and UKCA certifications, and HazLoc approvals (cULus HazLoc E180196) for use in hazardous locations such as Class I, Division 2, Groups ABCD. A TB712 terminal block is sold separately to connect the CAN bus. This compact, isolated CAN bus controller is intended for automation architectures that require robust fieldbus communication and safe operation in potentially harsh environments.
