The X20BM11 is the backbone bus module for B&R’s X20 I/O system, designed to distribute both power and data across all 24 VDC I/O modules, establishing the essential 24 V power path on the X20 backplane. Kept as a 24 VDC keyed module, the BM11 carries an internal I/O power supply that is connected through the module, making it the central hub for powering and coordinating the 24 VDC I/O family. Its backplane geometry supports a 12.5 mm pitch (±0.2 mm), enabling dense mounting of X20 modules while maintaining reliable bus connections and tidy cable management for the system-wide bus data and power delivery. Produced by B&R Industrial Automation GmbH as part of the X20 system, the BM11 is the reference base to build a modular distributed I/O network of 24 VDC modules on a single X20 backplane.
