Description:
The X20AI4622 is a four‑channel analog input module for B&R’s X20 system, designed to accept either ±10 V voltage or 0–20 mA / 4–20 mA current signals across four differential inputs. It uses a 13‑bit analogue‑to‑digital converter with a 400 µs conversion time and outputs signed integers (0x8001–0x7FFF), where 1 LSB equals 2.441 mV for voltage measurements and 4.883 µA for current; a configurable input filter can be applied to tailor signal conditioning. Each channel is isolated from the bus, while channels are not isolated from each other, enabling coordinated multi‑channel measurements. The module draws power from the bus (0.01 W) with an internal I/O consumption of about 1.1 W. It is IP20 rated with operating temperatures of -25 to 60°C (horizontal mounting) and -25 to 50°C (vertical), 5 to 95% non‑condensing humidity, and storage/transport tolerances from -40 to 85°C. Mechanically, it fits a 12.5 mm pitch and requires the X20TB12 12‑pin terminal block and X20BM11 bus module (X20BM15 is available as an accessory). Certifications include CE and UKCA, with hazardous‑location approvals (ATEX Zone 2 II 3G Ex nA nC IIA T5 Gc; UL/cULus; cCSAus; and others) to suit global installations.
