B&R Industrial Automation X20BC-8083 Bus Controller Module

The B&R X20BC8083 Bus Controller Module is a POWERLINK-connected node for the X20 I/O system that serves as the gateway between POWERLINK networks and X2X Link I/O points. It provides a single POWERLINK interface and includes an integrated two-port hub, enabling connection to hub expansion modules and additional X20 I/O nodes on the same POWERLINK network. The unit has two RJ45 connectors for POWERLINK wiring, and, when assembling a system, the bus base, power supply module, and terminal block must be ordered separately (the X20TB12 terminal block is commonly used for this purpose). In typical automation setups, the X20BC8083 ties X2X Link I/O clusters into a POWERLINK network, delivering real-time, deterministic communication between controllers and field devices.
