B&R Industrial Automation X20BM33 Power Bus Connection

X20BM33 is a bus module for B&R's X20 SafeIO system, designed to route and stabilize the internal I/O power supply through the X20 backplane and serve as the base module for SafeIO devices. It draws 24 V DC from the backplane, provides a continuous internal I/O power supply, and supports up to 10 A contact load on the I/O power rail, while the bus module itself consumes only about 0.13 W, helping minimize system heat and energy usage. This module is engineered for rugged industrial environments: it can be mounted horizontally or vertically on standard 25 mm pitch rails, is IP20 protected, and tolerates operating conditions from -25 to 60°C in horizontal orientation (and -25 to 50°C vertically), with storage temperatures from -40 to 85°C and humidity from 5 to 95% non-condensing, up to 2000 m elevation. It carries multiple international approvals including CE and UKCA, UL/cULus, and hazardous location certifications such as ATEX Zone 2 II 3G Ex nA nC IIA T5 Gc, along with HazLoc and other recognized certifications, reflecting its suitability for process and industrial control applications.
