B&R Industrial Automation X20CM8281 X20 Central Module

The X20CM8281 is a universal mixed I/O central module for B&R’s X20 automation system, delivering four digital inputs, two digital outputs, one analog input, and one analog output to connect field devices via the X20 bus and terminal blocks. Designed for rugged industrial environments, the module operates from a nominal 24 VDC supply and provides 500 V effective isolation between each I/O channel and the bus, helping protect the controller in demanding installations. Electrical specs include EN 61131-2 Type 1 input characteristics on the digital inputs, a 24 VDC input range of -15% to +20%, typical input current of 3.3 mA per channel, input impedance of about 7.18 kΩ, and a configurable input filter (default 1 ms, adjustable up to 25 ms) with a sinking input polarity.
