B&R Industrial Automation X20DI8371 Digital Input Module

The B&R Industrial Automation (ABB Group) X20DI8371 digital input module is an eight-channel, 24 VDC discrete input module for the X20 distributed I/O system, designed to read sensors, switches, and control devices in industrial automation. Each channel is a sink-type input that draws about 3.75 mA, with a switching threshold of less than 5 VDC for LOW and greater than 15 VDC for HIGH, and supports configurable hardware/software input filtering from microseconds to milliseconds, along with channel-to-bus isolation of about 500 Veff. It mounts on a DIN rail within the X20 modular system (requires a bus base module), consumes approximately 0.18 W from the bus, and operates from -25°C to +60°C with IP20 protection, making it suitable for manufacturing automation, machine control panels, packaging equipment, and other industrial production lines.
