B&R Industrial Automation X20IF1082 Communication Interface Module

B&R X20IF1082 is a POWERLINK interface module that adds a dedicated POWERLINK port to an X20 controller, enabling it to act as a managing or controlled node on the EPL network, supporting tight synchronization and deterministic data exchange in real-time control loops. Designed for the X20 IO system, the module provides 1x POWERLINK interface (V1/V2) and includes an integrated 2-port hub to simplify daisy-chaining additional POWERLINK devices, while preserving the modularity and hot-swappable philosophy of the X20 family. Its ring redundancy function helps maintain network availability by supporting a fault-tolerant EPL topology.
