B&R Industrial Automation X20SLX402 SafeLOGIC Digital Input Output Module

The B&R X20SLX402 SafeLOGIC digital I/O module is a compact safety I/O for the X20 system that provides four safe digital inputs (type A) and two safe digital outputs (type B2) plus four pulse outputs, all powered from 24 V DC. With SafeLOGIC-X technology, it safely executes applications designed in SafeDESIGNER and delivers fast, verifiable safety performance, including OSSD signals with a switching time under 10 µs. The module stores safe I/O state in dedicated memory—128 bytes for safe input data (68 usable) and 64 bytes for safe output data—supporting deterministic safe operation in integrated safety circuits. Designed for use in industrial automation, the X20SLX402 integrates into B&R’s X20 safety ecosystem and aligns with SafeDESIGNER workflows for developing and testing safety applications.
