Description:
The Bachmann CM202 CAN Interface Module is a CANopen master module designed for Bachmann M1/M200 controller ecosystems, providing two CAN networks per module and enabling up to four CM202 units per M200 controller (eight networks in total per controller).
Each CM202 supports up to 127 node addresses per network and operates at 10 kBaud to 1 Mbaud, with a power draw of up to 320 mA from 5 V DC and 500 V galvanic isolation.
It uses two 9-pin D-sub connectors for CAN connections, with CiA DS 102/4 pin assignments, and offers CANopen manager/server functionality, plus optional support for SAE J1939 and NMEA 2000.
Process data can be mapped with up to 128 TXPDOs and 128 RXPDOs per network, and configuration is performed via SolutionCenter to generate a DCF from EDS files, including PLCopen function blocks and C/C++ interfaces.
Operating temperature ranges from -30 to 60 C, humidity 5 to 95% non-condensing (storage -40 to 85 C), and approvals include CE, UKCA, and cULus.
