Bailey IMDS001 Digital Output Slave Module
Bailey IMDS001 Digital Output Slave Module
Description:
The Bailey Bailey Infi 90 Digital Slave Output Module (IMDSO01) is a remote I/O device that provides eight discrete digital outputs for the INFI 90 distributed control system, enabling the master controller to drive field devices from the INFI 90 backplane. It operates from +5 V DC and draws up to 1 W of power, matching the low-power signaling used in INFI 90 I/O expansions. As a digital output slave, it receives commands from the INFI 90 master and switches connected actuators such as relays, contactors, or indicators, delivering isolated outputs to protect control hardware and field equipment. This module is designed to be used within ABB Bailey’s INFI 90/Net 90 family and participates in the OPEN I/O architecture that supports modular expansion and distributed control across manufacturing lines. In typical installations, IMDSO01 works alongside digital input and analog modules to form a scalable I/O network that reduces wiring complexity while centralizing control logic in the master controller. The 5-volt, 1-watt footprint and eight-output configuration make it suitable for low-current switching tasks in process automation, machine automation, and packaging lines where fast, deterministic digital signaling is required.
