Bailey INNPM01 Network Processing Module PLC

Bailey INNPM01 Network Processing Module is the central processor of an INFI 90 network, handling exception-report routing and translating data between the INFI-NET loop and the Controlway, while coordinating with the NIS module over the I/O expander bus. It operates from +5 VDC at up to 2 A (10 W nominal), fits in a single slot of the standard INFI 90 module mounting unit, and weighs about 0.45 kg. Inside, it provides 256 kB ROM and 512 kB RAM, supports Controlway at 1 Mbaud and a module bus at 83.3 kbaud, and always initiates data transfers to the NIS module. It also offers configurable polling for exception reports at 1, 2, 4, or 8 polls per second and supports large installations up to 62,500 nodes system-wide (up to 250 nodes per loop); typical deployments pair the INNPM01 with an INNIS01 network interface slave module to connect individual nodes to the INFI 90 network.
