Bailey Replacement IMDSM05 Digital Input Output Module

IMDSM05 is a Bailey Infi 90 Digital Slave Module that serves as the digital I/O interface between field devices and Infi 90 master modules (MFPs and LMMs) within the process management system. It provides 16 digital I/O signals across two identical 8-point groups; each group can be configured as either inputs or outputs, and all points in a group share the same mode. Field inputs are 24 VDC, with 0 VDC indicating OFF, and jumpers enable either isolated or non-isolated two‑wire operation for the outputs with isolated drivers per group. Communication with the master is via the Infi 90 slave expander bus (12‑line bus), and the MFP/LMM can support up to 20 DSMs on a single system. This digital slave module is commonly used to interface discrete sensors, switches, and actuators to the Infi 90 process management framework, enabling reliable, scalable I/O for industrial automation setups.
