Baldor Electric Company M1722T Three-Phase Induction Motor

The Baldor Electric M1722T is a two-speed, three-phase induction motor in a TEFC (totally enclosed fan‑cooled) 182T frame designed for continuous-duty service in demanding industrial environments. This dual-speed unit delivers 2.0 HP at its high-speed setting and 0.89 HP at its low-speed setting, with selectable 4-pole (approximately 1720 RPM at 60 Hz) or 6-pole (approximately 1150 RPM at 60 Hz) operation when powered from a 60 Hz, 460 V supply. It uses six leads (6 #18 AWG) for connection and is intended for 3‑phase operation, 60 Hz, at 460 V. The motor is rated for continuous duty, with insulation class F, and a nominal current around 2.76 A at full load and 460 V. Built for rugged service, its 182T frame is steel and the enclosure is TEFC, with no auxiliary box and a rigid base mounting suitable for foot or base mounting arrangements. It employs Polyrex EM grease in the bearings and is rated for an ambient operating temperature up to 40 C.
