Balluff BCS0014 Capacitive Sensor

Balluff BCS0014 is a cylindrical capacitive sensor head (M08 form factor) intended to be used with an external amplifier. The M08T4C-XXS15C-EP02-GZ01-002 configuration features a pre-wired 2 m PUR lead terminated with Balluff’s special connector, enabling integration with Balluff amplifiers in automation setups. Its sensing range spans 0.1 to 1.5 mm (Sn), making it suitable for detecting small dielectric targets through non-contact sensing. The housing is stainless steel (1.4301) with a PTFE sensing face, delivering rugged durability in challenging environments. The device is rated IP67 and operates across -30 to 80 °C ambient temperatures, making it fit for harsh factory floors. Electrical supply is 4–8 VDC, and the cylindrical body uses an M8×1 thread for straightforward mounting.
