Balluff BES 516-113-S4-C Inductive Proximity Sensor

Balluff BES0161 (BES 516-113-S4-C) is a cylindrical inductive proximity sensor in an M12x1 housing designed for flush mounting. Measuring Ø12 x 70 mm, it detects metal targets with a 2 mm sensing distance and provides a switching output that can be configured as PNP normally open or normally closed through a 4-pin M12 connector. It operates on 10–30 V DC and supports up to 200 mA load current with a switching frequency up to 3.5 kHz, making it suited for fast automation cycles. The stainless steel housing and PBT sensing surface withstand harsh industrial environments, and the unit carries an IP68 rating for robust protection against dust and water ingress.
