Balluff BES 516-324-G-E4-C-PU-03 Inductive Sensor

The Balluff BES00NZ is a compact inductive proximity sensor (BES 516-324-G-E4-C-PU-03) in an 8 mm diameter M8x1 flush-mount housing with a 30 mm body and a 2 mm sensing range for metal targets, making it well-suited for tight spaces on automation equipment. It provides a PNP normally open switching output and is powered from 10–30 V DC via a 3 m PUR cable with three conductors (0.14 mm²), delivering up to 200 mA and a switching frequency up to 5 kHz. Built for rugged industrial use, it carries an IP68 rating and operates from −40 °C to 85 °C, with protection against polarity reversal, mis-wiring, and short-circuit; it also withstands shocks up to 30 g (half-sine 11 ms) and vibrations around 55 Hz with 1 mm amplitude.
