Balluff BES 516-325-G-ES-C-S49 Inductive Proximity Sensor

Balluff BES 516-325-G-ES-C-S49 is a compact inductive proximity sensor with a 4 mm sensing range, housed in a Ø12 x 44 mm, M12x1 threaded barrel designed for flush mounting in automated equipment. It provides a normally open PNP switching output and operates on a 10–30 V DC supply, drawing up to 200 mA. The sensor uses a brass housing with a nickel-free coating and a sensing surface made of LCP, offers IP67 protection, and operates in temperatures from -25 to 70 °C. The BES 516 family is designed for metal-target sensing in industrial environments, with dimensions and mounting compatible with standard BES sensors, making it suitable for use on conveyors, tooling, and robotic end-effectors where reliable metal detection is required.
