Balluff BES 516-357-BO-C-03 Inductive Proximity Switch

Balluff BES 516-357-BO-C-03 is a cylindrical inductive proximity switch housed in an M12 enclosure for compact metal-detection tasks in automation. It delivers a 4 mm nominal sensing distance (Sn) with an assured range (Sa) of 0–3.2 mm and uses a three‑wire DC interface with an NPN normally‑open output rated for up to 200 mA at 10–30 V DC. The sensor features a stainless steel housing with a PA12 sensing face, is unshielded, and carries an IP68 protection rating with an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.
