The Balluff BES-516-357-S-4-C (BES01HE) is a cylindrical inductive proximity switch that detects metal targets without contact, delivering a 4 mm nominal sensing distance in a non-flush, M12x1 4‑pin A‑coded configuration. Encased in a Ø12 x 70 mm stainless‑steel housing with a non‑flush installation style, it carries an IP68 rating for rugged industrial environments and operates from −40 to 85 °C.
