Balluff BES 516-372-G-E4-C-PU-05 Inductive Sensor

Balluff BES0104 (BES 516-372-G-E4-C-PU-05) is a compact flush-mount inductive proximity sensor with a stainless-steel D6.5 housing and a Ø6.5 x 30 mm body designed to sit flush in machine frames. It provides a normally-open NPN switch output from a 3-wire DC supply, with a nominal sensing distance Sn of 2 mm for ferrous targets and an assured operating distance Sa of 0…1.6 mm. The sensor is shielded to minimize false triggers near metal surfaces and is rated IP68 for dust and water ingress resistance, suitable for harsh industrial environments; operating temperature range is -25 to +70 °C. It is powered by a 10–30 V DC supply and draws up to about 200 mA, with a LifY-11Y-O cable assembly—commonly delivered with a 5 m length—for easy integration into control panels, conveyors, or machinery.
