BES-516-383-EO-C-PU is Balluff’s BES01M4 cylindrical inductive proximity sensor (8 mm diameter, 45 mm long) in an M8x1 housing designed for above-surface mounting and metal sensing at close range. It delivers a PNP normally-open output powered from 10–30 V DC, with a 2.5 mm sensing range and a 3 m PUR cable, making it suitable for compact, rugged automation applications. The sensor’s stainless steel housing and PBT active surface, IP68 protection, and operation from −40 to 85 °C, together with a switching frequency up to 5,000 Hz, support reliable performance on conveyors, robotic fixtures, and other industrial equipment where non-contact metal detection is required.
