Balluff BES M08EH-PSC20B-S04G is a compact inductive proximity sensor housed in an M8 cylindrical shell (Ø 8 x 58 mm) designed for flush-mount installations and dependable metal detection in tight spaces typical of automation lines. It delivers a 2 mm sensing range and a PNP normally open (NO) output, switching its state when a metallic target enters the field, and it operates from a 10–30 V DC supply to suit standard industrial controllers. The device features a stainless steel housing with a durable PBT sensing face, supports IP68 protection against dust and immersion, and tolerates a wide ambient temperature range from -25 to 70 °C; wiring is via a 4-pin M12 connector for quick, secure connections.
