Balluff BES M18EI-PSC72B-S04G-S Inductive Switch

The Balluff BES M18EI-PSC72B-S04G-S inductive switch (BES02NJ) is a pressure-rated, flush-mount metal-sensing sensor in the compact M18 form factor. Measuring Ø18 x 65 mm, it uses a sensing distance of 7.2 mm and provides a PNP normally open (NO) switching output powered from 10 to 30 V DC through an M12x1 4-pin connector. Built with a stainless-steel housing and stainless-steel sensing surface, it tolerates ambient temperatures from -25 to 70 °C and carries an IP67 ingress protection rating with a maximum pressure rating of 40 bar. This combination of high-pressure capability, flush installation, and reliable inductive detection makes it well suited for metal-target sensing in demanding industrial environments such as hydraulic or pneumatic equipment and other machines where compact, rugged sensing is required.
