Balluff BES M30MG1-PSC40F-S04G Inductive Proximity Sensor

Balluff BES M30MG1-PSC40F-S04G is an inductive proximity sensor in an M30 housing (Ø30 x 73.5 mm) designed for mounting over a surface and detecting metal targets at a 40 mm nominal sensing distance (Sn). It uses a three-wire DC output configured as PNP, normally open, and operates from 10 to 30 V DC (nominally 24 V DC) with up to 200 mA load current and a maximum switching frequency of 100 Hz. The unshielded sensor features a CuZn chrome-plated housing and a PBT sensing face, is IP67 protected, and employs an M12 S4 connector for wiring. Typical applications include automation and machine-building environments where non-contact metal sensing is required, such as presence detection on conveyors or in guarding and automation tasks.
