BES030W is Balluff’s 12 mm inductive proximity switch (BES516-325-E5-Y-S49) designed for flush-mount installation in rugged automation environments. It detects metal targets within a 2 mm range and provides a PNP normally open output when powered by 10–30 V DC, with a switching frequency up to 1000 Hz. The compact M12x1 housing (Ø12 x 44 mm) uses a brass, nickel-plated body and a PA12 sensing face, connected via a three-pin M8x1 connector, and is rated IP67 for harsh conditions; operating temperature is -25 to 70 °C.
