Balluff BGL 10A-002-S49 is a compact fork-through-beam photoelectric sensor (gabellichtschranke) with a 10 mm slot, designed for inline detection on conveyors and automation lines. It provides an NPN output with NO/NC switching and operates on 10–30 V DC (commonly 24 V DC); the unit uses a red LED indicator, a glass sensing face, and a zinc die-cast housing, with a 3‑pin M8 connector for easy wiring. The sensor measures 10 x 30 x 54 mm with a 10 mm fork width, a sensing spot of about Ø1.2 mm, and a through-beam optical principle suitable for through-beam detection of small parts passing through the slot. It carries IP65 protection for use in industrial environments.
