Balluff BIS C-6002-019-03-KL2 Compact Processor is an LF RFID processor unit (70/455 kHz) with a PROFIBUS-DP slave interface, designed to build compact identification systems. It supports up to two read/write heads/antennas, enabling flexible layouts for inline RFID tasks. Housed in ABS plastic, it uses a 19-pin terminal strip for PROFIBUS-DP connections and provides galvanic isolation on the bus interface. The unit is powered from 19.2 to 28.8 VDC and operates from 0 to 60 °C, with IP65 protection when a read/write head is installed. The KL2 configuration wires to the bus and heads via a terminal block that uses 2 × PG11 and 1 × PG9 cable fittings, delivering a tidy installation in automation cabinets. Software type 019 places it in Balluff’s BIS C-6002 read/write system family, enabling you to tailor a two-head RFID solution to assets, workpieces, or process lines.
