Balluff BIS C-605-027-650-05-ST4 Sensor Head

The Balluff BIS C-605-027-650-05-ST4 Sensor Head is a two-head low-frequency RFID processor in Balluff’s BIS C-series designed for LF RFID systems with two external read/write heads BIS C-3xx. It supports RS232 (read/write) and parallel interfaces via a MIN Sub D 25-pin connector, with the parallel interface operating in read-only mode. The unit measures 145 × 90 × 35 mm, runs on 24 V DC (±20%) with ripple under 10% and a current draw under 400 mA, and is rated IP54 / NEMA 12 with operating/storage temperatures of 0 to 60 °C. It provides four opto-coupled control inputs and 13 opto-coupled control outputs (all at 24 V DC) to integrate into automation networks and ballast the BIS C-3xx read/write heads for processor-based RFID tasks.
