Balluff BIS00W4 HF 13.56 MHz RFID Read/Write Sensor Head with USB interface is a compact, integrated processor read/write head that communicates directly with a host via USB 2.0 through an M12 plug. The unit (part BIS M-410-068-001-09-S72) measures about 40 x 24 x 56 mm, supports metal-free (free zone) installation, and carries an IP67 rating for rugged environments while operating from 5 V DC. It supports DIN ISO 14443 and DIN ISO 15693 data carriers in the 13.56 MHz HF band, enabling on-head read/write operations on a variety of tags. This makes it suitable for on-machine identification, item-level tracking, and packaging/assembly-line tasks where quick commissioning and reliable HF RFID performance are required.
