Balluff BMF 21K-PS-C-2-S49 Magnetic Field Sensor

Balluff BMF 21K-PS-C-2-S49 is a compact magnetic field sensor designed for tie-rod cylinder installations, measuring 11 × 11 × 32 mm with an M8x1 3‑pin connector for straightforward integration into pneumatic systems. It operates from 10–30 V DC and provides a PNP normally open output, with a switching frequency up to 10,000 Hz and a rated switching field strength of 1.2 kA/m (assured 2 kA/m). The device is built for harsh environments, rated IP67, with an operating temperature range from -25 to +85 °C, a PU sensing surface, and a PBT housing. It supports multiple cylinder configurations including tie-rod cylinders, DUO rails, round cylinders, and profile cylinders, making it a targeted magnetic field sensor for Balluff’s BMF 21 family and similar piston assemblies.
