Balluff BMF32M-PS-C-2-S4 Inductive Magnetic Sensor

Balluff BMF32M-PS-C-2-S4 Magnetic Field Sensor is a compact inductive position sensor designed for pneumatic cylinders. With dimensions of 25 x 11.9 x 26 mm and a four‑pin M12x1 A‑coded plug, it wires quickly into control systems. The device is intended for use on round cylinders and pneumatic cylinders with trapezoidal slots, and mounts securely with a hose clamp. It operates from a 10–30 V DC supply and provides a single PNP normally‑open output rated up to 200 mA, suitable for feeding PLC inputs or other logic signals. The sensor is protected to IP67 and tolerates a wide industrial temperature range from −25 °C to 85 °C, making it suitable for demanding environments. As part of Balluff’s magnetic field sensor family for multiple slot shapes, the BMF32M-PS-C-2-S4 detects a magnet in or on the piston to deliver a reliable position signal without contact, enabling precise end‑of‑stroke sensing in automation setups.
