Balluff BNI0051 I Link Module BNI IOL-302-S01-Z026 Network Interface Unit is Balluff's IO-Link network interface module designed to bridge IO-Link devices with industrial Ethernet networks. As a compact IO-Link master family member, it provides IO-Link ports and a 24 V sensor power supply path to connected devices, enabling direct power delivery and signal transfer through a single module. Out of the box it ships in autodetect mode, allowing quick network discovery; during autodetect a green LED on the unit indicates the detection process, and once configured you can access the device via its web server to parameterize ports and view status, with a REST API available for programmatic access to device information and settings. The BNI IOL-302-S01-Z026 supports Ethernet/IP integration and other industrial protocols via Balluff's Network Interface platform, enabling remote management, device identification, and process data exchange with PLCs. The module is designed to fit into standard automation architectures and facilitates plug‑and‑play connections of IO-Link sensors and actuators while exposing their process data to the host controller, offering a streamlined route from device to digital enterprise.
