Balluff BNI006A Ethernet IP Link Master Module

Balluff BNI006A EtherNet/IP IO-Link Master (BNI EIP-508-105-Z015) is a decentralized IO-Link master block that adds IO-Link device connectivity to an EtherNet/IP network. It provides eight IO-Link interface ports to connect IO-Link sensors and actuators and 32 discrete digital I/O points (16 PNP inputs and 16 PNP outputs) for general-purpose automation signaling, with configurable I/O. The housing is die-cast zinc, IP67 rated, and the module uses eight M12x1, 5-pin, A-coded connectors for IO-Link and a Type A port class. It operates on 18 to 30.2 V DC and measures 68 x 37.9 x 224 mm. The EtherNet/IP interface enables integration with standard PLCs, and IO-Link functionality supports IO-Link v1.1.3 devices. This combination makes the BNI006A suitable for distributed sensing and actuation in harsh industrial environments where robust, field-level IO-Link devices are needed on an EtherNet/IP backbone.
