Balluff BNS 819-D03-E12-100-10-FD is a mechanical three-position position switch (order code BNS00E8) with one normally open and one normally closed contact per position and galvanic isolation between outputs. Each position handles up to 5 A continuous current at 6–60 V, with an aluminum anodized housing rated to IP67 and an operating temperature range of -5 to 85 °C. The device uses a chisel-type plunger (E) and is designed for vertical mounting with the approach direction parallel to the mounting surface; switching life is up to about 30 million operations per position and the typical approach speed is 30 m/min. Wiring is via screw terminals for the standard FD variant.
