Balluff BOS 18KW-PA-1HA-S4-C is a cylindrical M18 diffuse photoelectric sensor with background suppression, offering a 50–100 mm sensing range for detecting diffuse targets. It operates on 10–30 V DC and provides a PNP output that can be configured as normally open or normally closed via a 4‑pin M12 connector; the unit carries IP67 protection and an ambient temperature range of -25 to 55 °C. The housing is PBT with a PMMA sensing surface, and it features fast response with turn-on and turn-off delays up to 1 ms and a switching frequency of up to 500 Hz.
