Balluff BOS 18M-PA-1HA-S4-C Diffuse Photoelectric Sensor

Balluff BOS 18M-PA-1HA-S4-C is an M18 cylindrical diffuse photoelectric sensor with background suppression and a 40–120 mm sensing range. It operates on 10–30 V DC and delivers a PNP normally open output via a 4-pin M12 connector, designed for easy integration with standard industrial controllers. The sensing surface is glass, the red LED light source supports reliable detection across a range of reflective targets, and the brass housing with nickel plating provides durability in harsh manufacturing environments. In diffuse mode, the sensor emits light that reflects off nearby surfaces to determine presence, and the background suppression feature helps prevent false triggers from background textures or colors on conveyors, packaging lines, or machine guards.
