Balluff BOS0039, also known as BOS 35K-PO-1XB-S4-C, is a compact diffuse infrared photoelectric sensor in Balluff's 35K family designed for short-range object detection. The 15 x 60 x 60 mm unit uses a PA12 housing with a PMMA sensing surface and provides a PNP normally closed (NC) output, powered by 10–30 V DC. It detects targets via a divergent diffuse beam of infrared light over a 0 to 200 mm range and terminates with an M12x1 4-pin connector for straightforward integration. This configuration suits automation tasks requiring reliable presence/absence sensing in compact spaces.
