Balluff BOS0089 Photoelectric Sensor

Balluff BOS0089 is a compact diffuse photoelectric sensor (BOS 26K-PA-1HC-S4-C) that uses background suppression to reliably detect targets at 30–300 mm. The red-emitting LED and diffuse sensing geometry suit inline detection on conveyors or in packaging lines where clutter is common. Powered from 10–30 V DC, the device provides two PNP transistor outputs (NO/NC configurable) via a 4‑pin M12 connector, with up to 200 mA per output. The unit features an ABS housing with a PMMA sensing surface and measures about 17 × 50 × 50 mm, with a light spot of Ø8 mm at 200 mm. This BOS0089 model is part of Balluff's BOS 26K family and is designed for compact industrial sensing applications that require stable detection in challenging backgrounds.
