Balluff BOS00FR BOS 15K-S-C10-02 Photoelectric Sensor

Balluff BOS00FR (BOS 15K-S-C10-02) is a compact diffuse photoelectric sensor in a 13 x 28 x 52 mm ABS housing with a PMMA sensing surface designed for small-object detection on automation lines. It operates from 10–30 V DC and provides a PNP/NPN switching output that can be configured for normally open or normally closed, with light-on/dark-on function for flexible sensing. The infrared beam runs at 880 nm with a divergent optical pattern and a rated sensing range of 1–100 mm, supported by a 2 m PVC cable; it also supports ambient light up to 3000 lux and has a maximum load current of 100 mA. For rugged environments, the unit is IP66-rated, mounts via M3 screws, and operates from -15 to 55 C, making it suitable for compact detection tasks such as presence/absence checks on conveyors, packaging machines, and small part handling.
